This year was our 14th summer school in mountains. As usual it was full of exercises (7 days and 6 hours of training every day) and at the same time it was very different in many ways.
This year, eleven of us went on the annual trip to France, so we were really an unmissable group at the summer aikido school on the island of Oleron. Also because most of us were young students around 18 years old.

Atlantic Ocean, oysters, cheese, wine and aikido – this is a two-week summer school of aikido on the French island of Oleron. Usually we go there in a larger group, this year we traveled only Martin, Vanda and Barborka.
We really enjoyed it all – you can join us next time!
During the lockdowns, we practiced online and could have only dream about organizing our regular international seminars. We also had to cancel the annual seminar with Jan Nevelius, scheduled for March. So at least we organized an online training with him. And it was a truly international event – more than fifty aikidas from all over the world joined our Zoom. Here we offer an hour-long video recording.
200 children and 50 adults from 20 clubs and 5 European countries practiced all day in 3 age categories led by 8 teachers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Sweden and France.
Another seminar with our shihan Franck Noel (7th dan) is over. We managed to take three photos from the practice, here we share them with you.
7 days, 6 hours of practice per day. Our week with aikido in countryside.
Our seminar with Gaston Nicolessi (5th dan, France) was exceptionaly intensive. We worked with shifting weight and pressure on the partner. Also practice with swords and sticks was dynamic.
