Our club is an association of members (“spolek” in Czech) with the official name Aikido Praha Vinohrady, z.s. Our mission is to teach and spread aikido as a all-round development tool for children, youth and adults.

Our club supports and develops aikido, which is physical, mental and spiritual discipline created by Morihei Ueshiba.

• organize and provide training and education in Aikido through regular training sessions and seminars for children, youth, and adults.
• organize and provide instructions in disciplines related to Aikido, particularly those that extend beyond the physical aspect and fulfill broader educational goals.  
• organize sports and other leisure activities for children, youth, and adults. 
• organize cultural and educational events. 
• promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle and care for the environment.
• prevent addiction, crime, and other socially pathological phenomena.
• provide support for children and youth from disadvantaged groups. 
• create educational materials.
• promote Aikido and related disciplines, particularly through demonstrations, lectures, or promotional materials.
• create and provide material and technical support for the aforementioned activities. 
• cooperate with individuals and organizations in the Czech Republic and worldwide that have similar purposes and goals.
