Our Christmas par­ties keep get­ting bet­ter and better!

This year, we star­ted off in an order­ly and tra­di­ti­o­nal man­ner: cabbage soup and san­dwi­ches, gin­ger­bread coo­kies and Christmas bread, mulled wine…
The­re was also a lot of aiki­do: a sli­de­show of pho­tos from throu­ghout the year, sto­ries about Japan, spe­e­ches, toasts, cele­brati­ons of vari­ous kyu and dan grades.
As the eve­ning pro­gres­sed, the chil­dren left the kids’ cor­ner and we adults added dan­cing and bott­les of vari­ous sizes and contents…
On the way home, we stop­ped at a bar, althou­gh we did­n’t spend the who­le night the­re. We were home around two o’clock.
