Week-long Summer School in Třešť 2024
As is the tradition of our club, our summer school in Třešť took place at the beginning of August. This time, we made a change. We held our Aikido training sessions in the gym of the local school. Our group has grown so much that we simply needed more space to train. The new setup proved to be a great success.
The gym provided us with tall, soft mats that were perfect for practicing high falls. And the ten-minute walk from the accommodation to the gym before each session turned out to be a wonderful way to mentally prepare for training. On the way back, it offered a chance to let the practice settle in and smoothly shift into the social part of the summer school. We’re definitely planning to use a similar setup again next year.
