Getting started with aikido is simple in our dojo:
When English speaking people come to a class, it is held both in Czech and English. Many of our dojo members also speak English, so you definitely won’t feel like an outsider.
Actually, our dojo is quite international place: we have members from USA, England, France, Spain, Italy, former Soviet Union countries etc.
You are invited to come to any class, even if you are a complete beginner without any experiences in sports or martial arts. See the schedule for times of practice. The first training is for free so that you can just try.
We offer two classes per week focused on beginners. During these classes you learn basic aikido movements, falls and techniques. You can also visit trainings for all levels, of course. See our schedule for more details.
Bring a comfortable training suit: t-shirt (long-sleeved is better) and gym pants, slippers and towel. We practise barefooted, short nails are preferred from safety reasons.
